Holistic Planet’s DIM Plus is an all-natural, hormone-free, aromatase inhibitor that can help the body to metabolize excess estrogen and reduce the effects of excess estrogen and/or estradiol. DIM (Diindolylmethane) is a phytonutrient found in cruciferous vegetables, including broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, Brussels sprouts and kale. Studies have shown that DIM can increase the level of favorable estrogen while reducing the level of less favorable estrogen. For women, DIM offers support for menopause, hot flashes, night sweats, hormonal acne and weight loss and some practitioners recommend DIM supplements to support bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. For men, DIM may help to reduce excess estradiol that could be a side effect from prescription drugs or testosterone replacement therapy.
